Research: our group works on the renal mechanisms of volume retention, renal proximal tubular endocytosis and on the progression of chronic kidney disease. We are funded by the german research community.

Research: Performing experimental research in kidney functions with the techniques listed below.

Requirements: Interests in teaching students and working with young people and performing good research. German and/ or french language scills will be required.

Generation of mouse models (knock-out, transgen); 3. cell culture of epithelial cells, transfection transient/ stabil; 4. all techniques of immunohistochemistry, confocal microscopy und electron microscopy; 5. RNA-isolation/ TaqMan analysis; si-RNA, 6. Biochemical methods (western blot, IP, pull down) 7. molecular biology
