Research Assistant, Ph.D. Student

Our main areas of research include: (1) IT Outsourcing, (2) Management of Platform Ecosystems and Enterprise Systems, and (3) Methods and Systems to support Virtual Teams.

Description
  • Specification, development and execution of your own dissertation project
  • Acquisition of considerable experience in exciting project work
  • Unique opportunity to present your research results at national and international conferences
  • Publications in leading proceedings and international journals
  • Participation in the drafting process of proposals for research grants
  • Responsibility for the supervision of bachelor and master theses
  • Supporting existing lectures by preparing course material, conducting exercise sessions, etc.

Requirements
  • Outstanding academic background with a completed master degree (or equivalent) preferably in one of the following fields of study: Business Administration, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Interest in empirical and/or design-oriented research in the field of Information Systems
  • Highly committed and motivated personality with the aim of achieving top performance
  • Very good English skills, additional knowledge of German would be an advantage
  • Diligent and a committed team player with exceptional drive, creativity and interpersonal skills.
