Food Technologist Ice Cream

Description
  • Promote innovation through the use of superior ingredients & technology for successful product differentiation
  • Follow trends on processes, ingredients and recipes in the ice cream industry and translate them into new food concepts with flavouring solutions
  • Based on your professional knowledge explore the effect of dairy ingredients and production processes on the flavour performance in ice cream
  • Act as an ice cream specialist in the region and train the colleagues in the region
  • Use own creativity, curiosity and passion to develop new innovative product ideas for our customers
  • Build relationship with other ingredient suppliers and evaluate possible exchange and joint development work
  • Use industrial experience to evaluate new pilot plant equipment
  • Execute customer projects/briefs in order to provide winning taste solutions
  • Interact with customers on a technical level in-house and at the customer, understand customer’s processes and identify customer needs in terms of taste solutions
  • Act as independent project leader
  • Work in regional, multidisciplinary teams with other technologists, scientists, as well as marketing, sales, creation and quality control.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Food Science and minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in the ice cream industry
  • Fluency in English is required, knowledge of another language desirable
  • Self-motivated, ability to take initiatives, manage priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good commercial awareness, excellent communication and project management skills.
