We are looking for an independent researcher ideally with several years of industrial experience.
Description
be responsible for organizing operations of an experimental animal facility
supervise and optimize ongoing experiments with rodents
use and optimize animal models of neuromuscular diseases and cachexia
compile results, write reports, present results internally and externally
actively participate in research and project meetings
help to define and adjust the research strategy
Requirements
a solid knowledge of rodent colonie management
a background in muscle, metabolism, behavior, CNS or oncology
a strong interest in the patho-physiology of diseases and pharmacotherapy
the ability and flexibility required to work independently in a small company environment
fluency in English
FELASA C or equivalent (experience in directing animal experiments)
The successful candidate must possess a demonstrated ability to independently design, execute and interpret experiments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
