Professor position in Endocrinology

Candidates should be MDs and/or PhDs and have a record of successful independent research and experience in the procurement and implementation of externally funded projects. Scientists with wide research and teaching experience in endocrinology / metabolic diseases and/or related domains will be given preference. While the exact research topic is open, the successful candidate is expected to have good potential to collaborate with other research groups within the Department of Medicine who are working in the areas of neuroscience and cardiovascular, metabolism, and cancer research.

She/He is expected to establish a funded research programme, preferentially including translational and/or clinical research and to teach endocrinology and metabolism to medical and biomedical students at the Bachelor level. She/He is also expected to mainly teach the 3rd year students in Medicine and Biomedical Science at the Bachelor level. Contributions to other study programmes in the Department of Medicine will be welcome.
