Trade Regulation -International Trade: From Fragmentation to Coherence
International treaties involving the World Trade Organization (WTO) are becoming increasingly wider in scope, often stretching beyond mere commercial matters into areas such as climate and development policy, migration issues, human rights and the promotion of innovation. Researchers of the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR), Trade Regulation -International Trade: From Fragmentation to Coherence, are identifying and analysing these and other aspects of international trade relationships in close collaboration with national and international governmental and non-governmental organisations. This enables the development of innovative approaches to the problem of reconciling different regulations at an international level.
