The yodeler won the prestigious folk music prize in Innsbruck at the end of October. Daria Occhini is studying for a Master of Arts in Music Education/Instrumental/Vocal Pedagogy. The SRF program Potzmusig reported on it.
Daria Occhini impressed the jury at the competition with her piece "De muess-mer hübscheli mache". She studies with Nadja Räss, among others.
Every two years, more than 700 young musicians and singers from four countries - Austria, Bavaria, South Tyrol and Switzerland - come together to showcase their skills at the Alpine Folk Music Competition.
