The Master of Science in Business Administration program at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts has been included in the list of the world’s 100 best management programs. The ranking is published on an annual basis by the renowned business newspaper Financial Times and is considered one of the world’s most important seals of quality.
For the first time, the Master of Science in Business Administration program at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts has been included in the Financial Times ranking. According to the Financial Times, this places the program among the top 100 management degree programs in the world.
The ranking assesses various factors in the areas of students’ labor market skills and career opportunities as well as diversity and internationality of the degree program. The HSLU Master’s program ranks 91st among the programs included in the highly competitive ranking. In the category ’Value for Money’, the program is even ranked second globally. In addition to the HSLU, only the programs of the University of St. Gallen, the University of Lausanne and the ZHAW are represented in the ranking from Switzerland.
’The inclusion in the ranking shows that our program has a high quality as well as a successful combination of scientific and practical orientation,’ says a pleased Martin Gubler, who heads the master’s program together with a team of majors. ’It encourages us to continue to give the highest priority to the personal and professional development of our students as well as the quality of our teaching,’ he says.
For this reason, the program has been fundamentally revised for the fall semester of 2022 to make it even more attractive in the future. For example, support services for students will be significantly expanded, a new range of electives will be introduced, and a new specialization ’People Management and Organization’ will be offered.
