Geneva, Switzerland -The Wyss Center for Bio and Neuroengineering, an independent, non-profit, research organization that innovates and accelerates technologies and therapies to transform the lives of people with neurological and mental health disorders, partners with the ALBA Network, to raise awareness and advocate for increased equity, inclusion and visibility of scientists from underrepresented groups in brain research.

With over 1300 members worldwide, the ALBA Network is a growing and highly dynamic movement in the neuroscientific community to foster diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in brain sciences. Through the implementation of a broad portfolio of globally-focused DEI activities, the network strives to advocate for actions and policies to counteract bias and build inclusive research cultures. ALBA is administered by FENS, the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies , an international non-profit association that serves as the main organization representing neuroscience in Europe.
