Wood chemistry: biobased materials for the building and construction sector, Christopher Holmes, Scientific Collaborator, BFH (Bern Fachhochschule) Institute for Materials and Wodd Technology

Over the past decade, Christopher has collaborated with Prof. Dr. Ingo Mayer to establish and grow a research group specializing in wood chemistry and biopolymers. Their work has explored the innovative use of lignin and tannins across various research and development projects, with applications in adhesives, foams, thermoplastics, and potential pharmaceutical intermediates.
