The University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) has opened a full time (100%) position, at the Department of Innovative Technologies (DTI), located in the USI-SUPSI Campus in Lugano-Viganello (Campus Est), within the Institute of Information Systems and Networking (ISIN), for a Ph.D. Student in Computer Engineering. Contract start January 2023 or date to be agreed.

Description

  • To work on the research on emotion recognition with eXtended reality (XR) devices and to contribute to the project activity of XR2Learn platform for XR advanced solutions in learning.
  • To contribute to the research of the Institute.

Exigences

Requirements

Essential

  • Outstanding MSc degree in computer science, mathematics, or related fields.
  • Fluent in English.
  • The capacity to work in team.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of emotion recognition.
  • Knowledge of XR.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence.
  • Knowledge of Italian.
