We are looking for a new member of our team to support ongoing projects on Net Zero, Living Labs and Multi-system interactions (energy, mobility, buildings). This is a 3 year position with optional extension if new funding is acquired.

Description

  • You will lead and/or collaborate in national and international research projects, guide research assistants and apply for new projects in the field of energy and sustainability transitions
  • To a minor extent (up to 20%), you will also support our teaching program, including the supervision of Bachelor and Masters Theses (related to the ongoing research projects)
  • You will publish the findings of your research in peer-reviewed journals and present them at conferences, workshops and social media
  • You will bring and continue to build a network of collaborators, both nationally and internationally. Your network will be vital for the development of future project ideas and research grant applications

Exigences

We are looking for an open-minded, creative and committed team member with a strong interest to develop a scientific profile in the field of sustainability transitions and societal transformation. You have a Masters Degree, ideally a PhD, in social sciences or a discipline related to energy and sustainabiity topics. Ideally, you have experiences with sustainability transition studies and you have already published peer-reviewed articles (e.g., from your Masters, PhD thesis or ongoing research activities). You are well acquainted with qualitative and quantitative research methods, you feel comfortable presenting in front of diverse audiences and you hae experiences with the publication of peer-reviewed articles. You are fluent in English and, ideally, you also speak German. Ideally, you also have experiences in the successful acquisition and management of research projects and a supportive network of collaborators in research and practice.
