This is a 3 year position with optional extension if new funding is acquired. ExigencesWe are looking for an open-minded, creative and committed team member with a strong interest to develop a scientific profile in the field of sustainability transitions and societal transformation. You have a Masters Degree, ideally a PhD, in social sciences or a discipline related to energy and sustainabiity topics. Ideally, you have experiences with sustainability transition studies and you have already published peer-reviewed articles (e.g., from your Masters, PhD thesis or ongoing research activities). You are well acquainted with qualitative and quantitative research methods, you feel comfortable presenting in front of diverse audiences and you hae experiences with the publication of peer-reviewed articles. You are fluent in English and, ideally, you also speak German. Ideally, you also have experiences in the successful acquisition and management of research projects and a supportive network of collaborators in research and practice.
