DescriptionThe successful candidate will assume a key role in the design, plan and implementation of the IT infrastructures for the development laboratory and the test facility of the LIGHT accelerator and control system. S/he will also participate in and support the growth of the IT support team which will realise and maintain the future installations of the complete LIGHT Proton Therapy Solution worldwide. * Participate in the analysis, design and planning of the IT Infrastructures * Install, configure and maintain network, hardware, services and applications, on-site and off-site. * Provide support for the development and operations activities of ADAM * Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures for systems and applications * Develop and maintain tools, procedures and documentation for standards compliance * Develop and maintain procedures, knowledgebase and documentation for operations support * Provide second-line support for operations personnel at remote sites. | |
Requirements* Windows and Linux system administration (4 years professional experience) * Infrastructure services, such as DHCP, NTP, LDAP, HTTP * Virtualisation systems, i.e. VMWare, KVM, Xen * OS configuration management tools, i.e. Puppet, Chef * System and hardware monitoring, i.e. Nagios, Icinga * Source code revision control systems * Networking and security best practices * Basic database administration * Fluent spoken and written English, including technical writing * Basic spoken French * Principles of project management
Knowledge of the following topics will be useful in the course of work: * Storage management * Oracle DataBase administration * Development support systems, i.e. Git, Jira, Jenkins * Private cloud management layers, i.e. OpenStack * medical Picture Archival and Communication Systems (PACS) * InterSystems Cache and Ensemble | |
