IRGC, the International Risk Governance Center, is looking for a young scientist interested in risk governance, to work with us to ‘bridge’ contributions from science, technology, public policy and private strategies, on the topic of evaluation and governance of emerging and systemic risk issues. Objective is to elaborate policy recommendations.

The job consists in:

  • doing research and talking with stakeholders to write project proposals
  • participating in fundraising
  • organising collaborative project work
  • facilitating multi-disciplinary and multi-stakeholder expert workshops, and
  • writing and editing project reports and policy briefs, for an audience in public policy and administration, and business.

Profile:

  • scientific background in natural science or engineering
  • several years’ experience in social or political science
  • excellent writing and communication skills
  • full proficiency in English (written and oral)
