The ARTORG Center, University of Bern ( is looking for exceptional candidates to fill an open PhD position in the fields of machine learning, computer vision and medical image analysis.

The ideal candidate should have completed a degree (Masters or equivalent) in computer science, physics, engineering, applied mathematics or other relevant fields. Experience and/or course work in machine learning and computer vision is essential. Good grasp of either C/C++ or python is required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate is expected to work in a team of diverse experts from both engineering and clinical backgrounds.

The ARTORG Center is a multidisciplinary research center part of University of Bern and associated to the Bern University Hospital. The center gathers over 150 researchers of all levels in wide array of Biomedical Engineering topics.
