The Swiss Kidney Stone Cohort is a project promoted by the Swiss National Science Foundation program “National Center of Competence in Research (NCCR)” Kidney.CH (?url=www.nccr-kidney.ch&module=jobs&id=39717" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.nccr-kidney.ch).

The goals of the Cohort are to enroll patients suffering from Kidney stones in Switzerland under a common investigation protocol, to build a Biobank, and to provide a platform for research. The Cohort is currently running in the University Clinics of Nephrology in Bern, Geneva, Lausanne and Zurich and in the Kantonspital Aarau. The position is based at the Institute of Physiology of the University of Zurich at the Irchel campus. Travel throughout Switzerland will be required regularly.

Description

Responsibilities:
Major tasks are the coordination of centers, supervision and continuous improvement of SOPs, monitoring of study centers and data quality, the maintenance of homepage, and communication with enrolled patients via newsletters and other relevant media forms.

Requirements

Qualifications:
The candidate will have previous experience in the field of clinical studies/biobanking and documented knowledge of good clinical practice and ethical policies. Experience in leading studies at a national and international level is an advantage, as well as holding a CAS or DAS in clinical study management. The function requires excellent organizational skills to independently manage work flow and ability to prioritize quickly and appropriately.

As a national coordinator, you should speak and write German, English and French and show excellent communication skills, high competence in leading and motivating a team of study nurses located in five study centers, and interacting with the local medical investigators. Experience in the field of nutrition and/or epidemiology would be a bonus.

Language requirements:
English, German and French (written and spoken)

Computer skills:
The usual applications within clinical trial management
