Post-doctoral position on optical diffraction tomography, multi-mode fibers and machine learning in optical imaging

Your mission :
The Optics Laboratory at EPFL Lausanne ( ?url=www.epfl.ch%2Flabs%2Flo%2F&module=jobs&id=45700" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.epfl.ch/labs/lo/ ), directed by Professor Demetri Psaltis, carries out multi-disciplinary research on linear and non-linear multimode fibers, imaging through complex scattering media, laser tissue ablation, cochlear imaging, optical diffraction tomography, holography, opto-fluidics, electrochemistry and hydrogen production, and deep learning for optical imaging.

The LO is looking for a post-doc to support the ODT, machine learning, and multi-mode fiber imaging research of the group.

Main duties and responsibilities include :
  • Optical diffraction tomography
  • Machine learning
  • Imaging with multi-mode fibers


Your profile :
  • PhD in physics or engineering
  • Experience in programming (python/Tensorflow)
  • Experience in experimental optics
