Senior Associate Analytical Development Biochemistry (temporary for 3 years)

The department 'Analytical Development and Quality Control Biotech Europe' is responsible for Biochemical Analytical Development, Quality Control and Compliance required for Analytics of Bio-pharmaceuticals from pre IND (= Investigational New Drug) to BLA (Biologics License Application) and Launch.

Are you a curious individual looking for a new challenge and are passionate about Analytical Development? As Senior Associate Analytical Development Biochemistry you are responsible for following activities:

  • Develop, improve and validate analytical methods for the quality assessment of active substances and galenical forms

  • Evaluate new technologies/methods and support innovation projects

  • Coordinate analytical activities including sample management for biotechnological development products

  • Analysis of drug product formulations under GMP conditions

  • Plan and monitor work packages to ensure efficient analytics and continuous improvement. This in exchange with group members and representatives from other departments

  • Maintain efficient and timely GxP-conform analytics and documentation following GxP guidelines as well as the SOPs

  • Author of GMP documents, e.g. procedures, validation reports, change control documents

For this interesting challenge, you bring the following qualification:

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in analytics, biochemistry, biotechnology or vocational scientific qualification (e.g. apprenticeship) with 1-3 years’ of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong focus on analytics, preferable in a GMP environment

  • Experience in HPLC analytics is required

  • Self-motivated, proactive, responsible, result-oriented and an excellent team player

  • Preparedness to apply novel software tools to increase efficiency in data handling is a plus, e.g. experience with statistical software like R, JMP, etc.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and German (written and spoken)
