Security engineer position

Concretely we are looking to fill software engineer/researcher roles at IBM Research – Zurich . Particular topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
The focus is more on the implementation of advanced cryptographic algorithms that include Quantum Safe Cryptography, Zero Knowledge Proofs, Functional encryption, partially homomorphic schemes. The desired skill is the ability to take a research concepts and engineer them into usable components and systems. This requirement includes applying modern devOps and security assurance methodologies.

The Quantum-Safe Cloud & Systems group at IBM Research – Zurich offers an exciting research environment with the possibility to cooperate with researchers working on various aspects of security and cryptography, including blockchain, quantum safe cryptography, provably secure protocol design, and system security. The group provides security innovation to a number of IBM product s including the Mainframe and Cloud platforms.

Candidates are required to have an advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and demonstrate an outstanding development or research record.
