Faculty positions

Webster University in Geneva seeks to fill by September 2009, the following three faculty positions:

1. The School of Business and Technology (SBT) Full-time Research and Teaching Position

2. International Relations Full-time Research and Teaching Position

3. Psychology and Counseling Full-time Research and Teaching Position

Each of these full-time positions is divided between research, teaching and administrative tasks :

• Research : the successful candidates will have accomplished, after one year of service, research leading to at least one academic publication. He/she will participate in departmental events and conferences and will engage, encourage and support faculty and students in their research. He/she will acknowledge Webster in all work and publications, and he/she will support efforts to uphold and increase the visibility and reputation of Webster University Geneva.
• Teaching : up to five courses a year in their field (undergraduate or graduate).
• Administrative tasks : may include participation to Department and Faculty workshops, mentoring/supervision of students, particularly in research, senior or graduate thesis supervision, directed studies and practica/internships.

1. The School of Business and Technology (SBT) Full-time Research and Teaching Position

The successful candidate will have recently earned a PhD or DBA degree from the graduate school of business of an accredited and reputable university. She/he will possess a high degree of motivation to conduct post-doctoral research leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals and proven ability to teach effectively in an Americanstyle classroom setting.

2. International Relations Full-time Research and Teaching Position

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in International Relations, Political Science, History, International Law or International Economics and have a professorship/lectureship from an accredited university or at least five years in higher education at an equivalent level. In addition, the person will have a track record of at least three scientific publications in the last five years.

3. Psychology and Counseling Full-time Research and Teaching Position

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Psychology or Counseling and have a professorship/lectureship from an accredited university or at least five years in higher education at an equivalent level. In addition, the person will have a track record of at least three scientific publications in the last five years.
