Advisor for Legal & Finance in the Field of Research and Innovation, ~80%

In the role of an advisor, you will inform and advise clients from both the public and private sector in Switzerland on Legal and Finance (L&F) aspects of prospective and running projects within the European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. Your main activites will consist of:

• obtaining, processing and disseminating information related to L&F issues in Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe on various channels (Euresearch Network, website, social media, etc.).
• advising and training active or potential clients and the Euresearch Network individually and in groups with regard to L&F aspects of European Framework Programmes.
• consolidate feedback and exchange best practice on the Model Grant Agreement, mechanisms, eligibility, rules for participation, Swiss association and so on.

You have a legal background or a scientific profile with post-graduate degreein law. Ideally you have already worked in research management of European projects or directly in a Horizon 2020 project.

The ideal L&F advisor candidate ejoys bridging funding regulations and research. She/he is a strong communicator, service-oriented and enjoys networking. You like working in an international environment an bring a solution-oriented mindset to our lively team. You communicate fluently in English, and German or French.

In non-pandemic cirumstances, the place of work is Bern with up to 40% of telework possible. The position may involve well plannable national and international travel activities.
