Euresearch is a non-profit association with offices in all the Swiss regions and a Network Office in Bern. Its mission is to inform and advise Swiss applicants on the European Research & Innovation Programme Horizon 2020/Europe, and on related European Programmes. Euresearch is financed by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation.

Description

In the role of an advisor, you will inform and advise clients from both the public and the private sector in Switzerland on prospective and running projects. Your main activities will consist of:

  • obtaining, processing and disseminating information related to Food, Agriculture and Climate in Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe on various channels (Euresearch Network, website, social media, etc.).
  • inform, advise and train active or prospective clients individually and in groups with regard to Food, Agriculture and Climate in the European Framework Programmes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Life or Environmental Sciences. Ideally you have already worked in research management of European projects or directly in a Horizon 2020 project.

The ideal advisor candidate enjoys bridging funding regulations and research. She/he is a strong communicator, service-oriented and enjoys networking. You like working in an international environment and bring a solution-oriented mindset to our lively team. You communicate fluently in English, and German or French.

In non-pandemic circumstances, the place of work is Bern with up to 40% of telework possible. The position may involve well plannable national and international travel activities.
