TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR TO THE RANK OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSORSHIP IN SPATIAL EPIDEMIOLOGY OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
Teaching (45%) Six hours a week of teaching throughout the year on university courses in movement and sports sciences.
Research methodology (Bachelor’s, compulsory course, 1h/year, 3 ECTS credits)
Physical activity and health (Bachelor’s, compulsory course, 1h/year, 3 ECTS credits)
Spatial epidemiology of physical activity over a lifetime (Master’s, 2h/year, 6 ECTS credits)
Demographical trends of physical activity and sports (Master’s, 2h/year, 6 ECTS credits)
Master’s dissertations and PhD theses supervision.
One hour’s release from teaching is granted during the tenure-track period.
Research (45%) The post-holder will pursue their research in the field of spatial epidemiology of physical activity and life courses, in conjunction with the Interdisciplinary Centre on Overcoming Vulnerability: Life Course Perspectives (LIVES Centre).
Administrative responsibilities (10%)
PhD (for example in social sciences or social epidemiology) or equivalent
Academic teaching experience in the field of spatial epidemiology and research methodology
Proven research record in spatial epidemiology
Proficiency in spatial and longitudinal methodological approaches
Good links with national and international scientific networks
