In ImmunOs Therapeutics we design, develop and produce novel biologics in the field of Autoimmunity and Immuno-oncology.

Description

Job description:

  • Design and perform experiments related to antibody/protein engineering, antibody developability assessment, and related cell-based assays
  • Optimize protocols, data recording, evaluation and presentation in meetings
  • Support the senior lab staff members
  • Day-to-day operations of the research laboratory, maintenance of equipment and adherence to safety standards

Responsibilities:

The applicant is expected to have research lab experience and be familiar with autoimmunity and/or cancer biology/ immunology. Flexibility in the workday to facilitate same-day sample processing is preferred.

General tasks: Knowledge of the biological sciences and scientific laboratory procedures and techniques in performing a broad range of duties related to the day-to-day operations of biological laboratories, which includes the preparation of buffers, media, supplies, materials, and equipment; maintenance of safety standards, proper and safe use of equipment and facilities; and support of laboratory personnel is expected. In addition, the employee’s field of activities will include laboratory consumable purchases and vendor relationship management, budget, and general company related day-to-day operations.

Requirements

Required technical skills:

  • Experience in antibody screening by ELISA, SPR, or flow cytometry
  • Direct hands-on experience in antibody or protein library generation, library selection or screening, and phage display approaches is preferential but not mandatory
  • Protein characterization, purification and analysis using diverse techniques: SDS page, western blot, ELISA
  • Diverse cell culture techniques: manipulation of cells, isolation of primary human cells and culture diverse cell lines
  • Immunology related assays (T cells, Macrophages, Neutrophils, NK cells etc.)

Background: Completed laboratory technician training or equivalent, or a degree in Life Sciences (BSc or MSc) in a relevant field

Experience: Academic experience in relevant autoimmunity/cancer immunology research. Industry experience is a plus. Demonstration of substantial independence in conduct of experiments and high levels of organization in recording data are expected.
