YOUR TASK

  • In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will perform a variety of tasks including installations, troubleshooting and repair, application support, user demonstrations and training.
  • Working closely with our customers, you will develop a sense of their needs and goals and work closely with our sales team to capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • Your work locations will be on-site at our customers, remotely or from the headquarters in Taunusstein / Germany.

Requirements

  • You have a bachelor‘s or master‘s degree or a doctorate in physics, physical chemistry, or engineering

  • You have previous experience working on surface science UHV systems

  • Ideally, you have experience and knowledge in experimental surface analysis (e.g. ARPES, ESCA, HAXPES, MBE, STM/AFM)

  • You like to work with your hands and have excelent mechanical skills

  • Good command of English and preferably also German (not a must)

  • You are service-oriented and have a practical problem-solving approach

  • You are business oriented: you provide excellent support and understand the link between profit and customer safisfaction

  • You enjoy traveling and are available for installations and visits throughout Europe and Asia Pacific
