The Research Promotion Service of the University of Fribourg advises and supports researchers in obtaining third-party funding and is the contact for all research-related issues at the university.
We are looking for a new member for our team who will be in charge of university rankings, starting immediately or by appointment. This will be a newly created position.
Description
Your tasks:
You will help develop the processes for the participation of the University of Fribourg in rankings.
You will collect data from other services of the University and provide it for various rankings.
You are the expert and contact person for all ranking-related questions and work in close contact with the faculties and various services and units of the university.
You are the contact person for ORCID at the University of Fribourg and support researchers in creating and updating their ORCID.
You participate in internal projects of the Research Promotion Service, and support your colleagues, if need be, in advising researchers.
Requirements
University degree (master’s or doctorate)
Ideally some experience in the field of ranking / indicators / quality measurement
Ideally a good knowledge of the Swiss higher education system
Good IT skills, affinity with data analysis
You can work independently and display a high level of initiative and flexibility
You are sociable and are able to work as a team
Native speaker of German, French or English, with very good knowledge of the other languages
