Assistant Professorship (Tenure Track) in Artificial Intelligence in Finance (100%) The University of St.Gallen has recently build up a new School of Computer Science with an innovative emphasis on entrepreneurship and has established a Center for Financial Services Innovation. We are seeking candidates for an assistant professorship in the field of “Artificial Intelligence in Finance” with a special focus on the financial services industry. The position is based at the School of Computer Science (SCS-HSG) and will be affiliated with the new Center for Financial Services Innovation (FSI-HSG). | |
DescriptionThe candidate is expected to participate in the Center’s activities and contribute to its activities in research, knowledge transfer into industry and society, and executive education. Further responsibilities include course development and teaching on all levels within the degree pro grams of the School of Computer Science as well as service teaching including applications with financial data.

RequirementsTo be considered for this position, applicants should have a Ph.D. in computer science (or be near completion) and an excellent track record in research and teaching at the intersection of artificial intelligence and finance.

We offerThe appointment is for 6 years, with an intermediate evaluation after 3 years and tenure eval uation after 6 years. Based on a tenure track process, successful candidates can be promoted to a tenured Associate Professor position.
