RequirementsWe are looking for an innovative and visionary personality who represents the entire specialty of orthopaedic surgery and traumatology with their profound clinical knowledge.
You are an excellent surgeon with a proven area of specialisation in orthopaedic surgery or traumatology. Management and leadership experience in complex, interdisciplinary organisations with appropriate business knowledge and a high level of integration and teamwork skills as well as strong interpersonal skills are essential. Strong communication skills within your own team and in networking with related disciplines are expected. You have good German, French and English language skills or are willing to acquire them. The position is to be filled by an internationally recognised personality with a proven research profile and talent for innovation. Regular publication activity and successful acquisition of competitive third-party funding are required. An outstanding track record in research with international charisma and a scientific network as well as proof of competitive acquisition of third-party funds are expected. The research profile should be composed of clinical and translational research. A post-doctoral lecturing qualification (habilitation) or an equivalent academic credentials as well specialist medical qualification in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system (or equivalent) are required. Didactic skills for teaching and an interest in innovative and contemporary teaching and learning concepts, a strong commitment to the promotion of young academics and continuing education as well as the establishment of contemporary working conditions round off the requirements profile. | |
