shops:business hours

Shop business hours depend on the owner, we give some tips but you can find several exceptions! Shops

• are open from 9h00 to 12h00 and from 13h30 to 18h30/19h00

• are often closed on the Monday morning or even the whole day

• are closed on Sunday with exceptions of shops near train stations, and some kiosks

• in the towns once per week may close at 21h00.

Department stores

• usually are open from Mo-Sa from 8h30 to 19h without lunch break

• are closed on Sunday, only exception sometime before Christmas

• in some towns, shops remain open till 8 or 9 pm once per week (often Thursdays or Friday)

Banks and post offices

• are open from Mo to Fri from 8h30 to 12h00 and from 13h30 to 17h00

• are open on Saturday morning
