The competition final of the Philip Jones Brass Prize took place on Saturday, 16.03.2024. First prize went to Diogo José Carvalho Da Cunha (trombone) and third prize to Luís Batista Leitão (tuba). Both are studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Music/ Classical Music profile.
Thanks to the Strebi Foundation Lucerne, the prize can be awarded annually to students from the Department of Music who play brass instruments. 13 students took part in the preliminary round of the competition. The second prize was not awarded.
