Science and Innovation in Switzerland
Switzerland has a long tradition in science and innovation. Euler has been living in Basel, Jean-Jacques Rousseau was born in Geneva and Einstein has developped the famous theory of relativity in Bern. Some of the best universities in the world are situated in Switzerland. A lot of world-renowned companies are established in Switzerland as well. The economical know-how combined with the strength of its universities and technical institutes have helped to build an innovative and dynamic scientific network between universities and companies.
