Your position

  • Contribute towards research projects on ethical issues related to biomedical ethics. 
  • Supervise PhD candidates in their research work. 
  • Strengthen empirical research in bioethics. 
  • Work towards publications on biomedical ethics/ethics and human rights. 
  • Engage in the academic life at the IBMB, including small-scale contributions to teaching, seeking funding opportunities as well as organizational work of the Institute. 


Your profile

  • A doctoral degree (PhD) in Bioethics, Philosophy, Law, Health Sciences, Social Sciences or other related fields.
  • Experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research. 
  • Ability to write scholarly manuscripts in English. 
  • Enthusiasm, independence, responsibility, and an interest in an academic career. 
  • Criteria of excellence (honors, awards, excellent grades indicating that you are among the best 10% of your institutions’ researchers/students at your level)
