To mitigate the limitations of the Swiss participation to the Erasmus+ programme, the Swiss national agency Movetia launches two calls for pilot projects for mobility and cooperation with institutions outside Europe. Funding is available for innovative projects involving at least one extra-European partner and one Swiss partner (preferably two).
Two instruments are available:
- Open Project Fund : This instrument is intended to test new modes of cooperation and mobility with partners located outside Europe. The project promoters are free to design their project.
- International intensive programmes : This instrument allows to implement short-term training programmes outside Europe, jointly organised by at least two higher education institutions.
The projects can be submitted by professors, researchers, and administrative and technical staff.
The deadline to submit the project outline is 31 January 2019 . The selected project promoters can then submit the full proposal by 31 May 2019 for the final selection.
